Across three years at DDB Düsseldorf, my role grew from creating content to guiding junior talents who create it. This shift shaped how I lead others today.
My Role
On top of shaping the agency's own visual direction and content strategy, I was responsible for briefing and reviewing work from interns and junior art directors – setting the creative direction and making sure their output stayed on brand.
Learning & Impact
Leading junior creatives while still producing hands-on work myself (like the Kreative gegen Krebs illustration or the Sleepy Santa mailing) taught me how to give clear, usable creative direction – a skill that carried straight into the senior roles that followed.
