Emilio – Find Ich Dich is a music video I collaborated on, where I was responsible for the illustrations and the animation.
The Challenge
The timing on this project tightened unexpectedly: while we originally had more production time planned, the release date was moved up, reducing the entire animation schedule to just three weeks. With no room for delays, I hand-drew around 230 individual frames for four frame-by-frame animation sequences.
Learning & Impact:
Having full creative trust from the client meant I could define the entire illustration style myself. It also meant making a hard call under pressure: cutting a sequence I'd already animated because it would have made the video feel overloaded. A good lesson in protecting the bigger picture, even after real work had gone into something.
