Dentalman began as a logo pitch that I was working on. After successfully presenting the logo, the client decided to take the idea further and envisioned something bigger. What was originally planned as a small subpage within the existing platform minilu, quickly evolved into a standalone brand and website that would merge a lifestyle-driven blog with a B2B shop.

The platform was designed to serve two audiences: dental assistants looking to purchase professional tools and supplies, and dentists with a more exclusive taste. One side of the site would offer equipment and accessories; the other would curate content such as wine recommendations, travel guides to cities hosting medical/healthcare trade fairs, complete with restaurant suggestions, and editorial pieces covering topics relevant and inspiring to dentists and dental surgeons.

Here are some illustrations I created during the design process that ultimately didn't make it onto the final site. The original idea was to develop a character that personified the Dentalman, a visual guide who could appear in features like the live chat or on error pages to add a more human, playful touch to the experience.
